3rd Day: SIEMREAP

- In the morning departure for Phnom Koulen. (River of thousand
Lingas) around 55 km, north of Angkor. At the eleventh century,
hermits have carved the sandstone bed of the river that fed
Angkor. You join the site after 45 minutes walking through
the forest. Phnom Koulen is a place highly symbolic system
for the Cambodian ones since it is here that in 802 Jayavarman
II proclaimed the independence of the kingdom and that began
the long dynasty from god-kings d' Angkor.
- Continue to visit Banteay Srei. One of the great moments
of the visit of the temples d' Angkor. It is 45 km in the

first built under the reign of Udayadityavarman II in the
11th Century. The famous Bayon Temple – this temple mountain
built by Jayavarman VII is situated in the centre of the city
of Angkor Thom, Baphuon - This temple built by Udayadityarvarman
II was the most poorly constructed of all the temples in Angkor.
Phimean Akas – this temple constructed late 10th – early 11th
century by Jayavarman V. Then visit of the Elephants and Leper
King Terraces.
Afternoon, visit one of 7 wonders of the world "Angkor
Wat" early – mid 12th by King Soryavarman II. The temple
is one of the largest monuments to religion ever built and
is truly one the wonders of the world and then watching sunset
view from the top of Bakheng Hill.

5th Day : SIEMREAP – Kampong Thom – Kampong Cham

- Breakfast at the hotel,
- Departure for Kampong Cham via Kampong Thom, to visit the
archaeological bridge " Naga" bridge; 12th century.
Goes down in the middle of the way to visit pre-angkoriens
times with Sambo Prei Kuk. Sambo Prei Kuk, hardly located
at 30 km of Kampong Thom, shelters the most remarkable unit,
with more than one hundred of small temples scattered in the
forest. Sambo Prei Kuk was the capital of the Chenla kingdom
at the beginning of the VII century.
- Contniue to Kampong Cham by visiting a temple located in
a pagoda, Prasat Kuha Nokor, built in XI century lasting the
reign of Suryavarman I.
- Arrival in Kampong Cham, transfer to the hotel.

6th Day : Kampong Cham – STUNG TRENG 357 kms
- Breakfast at the hotel,
- Visit of Kompong Cham, the most populated province of Cambodia
which extends at the edge of Mekong, the plantation of hévéas

brought from here. Visit a pre-angkorien temple, Wat Nokor
Chei (that some call Wat Norkor Bayon or quite simply Wat
Nokor (the pagoda of the city), is a marvellous place. One

of the Laom Giant: superb wide perfectly round water surrounded

8th Day : Rattanakiri

- This morning, visit of Voen Sai located in the banks of
Tonlé San, the city was located on northern, and known as

- Continue to visit of Kan chanh waterfall (7 km from the
West of Ban Lung): This waterfall is very beautiful and nearest
to the town of Ban Lung then visit of Cha Ung waterfall

9th Day Rattanakiri – Kratie 275 kms
- Breakfast at the hotel,
- Continuation of the road for the Kratie direction via Snoul
while passing by the bridge of Kizuna. Kratie is the best
place to observe fresh water dolphins of a rare species than
one can find them than in the north of the chief town.
- Visit of the city. You will be able to observe the carts
drawn by small horses, .....
- In the afternoon, you will visit a place more and more of
tourists, come to observe the rare existing specimens of dolphins
of Irrawaddy. Then continue with the visit of Phnom Sombok
located at 7 km upstream of Kratie. Return to Kratie with
visit of the market, some houses khmères in the northern part
and to admire splendid lying sun on Mekong.
